Notre Dame Freshman Class Council

Nora Kenney | Thursday, December 11, 2008

The representatives of the Freshman Class Council (FCC) seem to enjoy their roles even though many were surprised to discover the commitment FCC requires. Kelly Nolan, chair freshmen promotional/miscellaneous committee, said so far this year, FCC has planned a Halloween dance with the sophomore council members, hosted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich-making service event, sold candy cane grams and sung Christmas carols. They have also held a prayer service. Next semester, they plan to sell class T-shirts.

“I love being able to represent the class of 2012,” Nolan said. “I’m excited that I get to be a part of planning and making all of our Notre Dame experiences amazing, right from the start.”
