The representatives of the Freshman Class Council (FCC) seem to enjoy their roles even though many were surprised to discover the commitment FCC requires. Kelly Nolan, chair freshmen promotional/miscellaneous committee, said so far this year, FCC has planned a Halloween dance with the sophomore council members, hosted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich-making service event, sold candy cane grams and sung Christmas carols. They have also held a prayer service. Next semester, they plan to sell class T-shirts.
"I love being able to represent the class of 2012," Nolan said. "I'm excited that I get to be a part of planning and making all of our Notre Dame experiences amazing, right from the start."
