Trustees happy with Spes Unica hall

Ashley Charnley | Thursday, December 11, 2008

The Saint Mary’s Board of Trustees (BOT) were pleased with the recent completion and dedication of Spes Unica Hall, the new academic building on Saint Mary’s campus said BOT student representative Courtney Parry.

“The recent October Board meeting was filled with excitement over the dedication of Spes Unica Hall,” she said. The board has met twice this semester, in June and October.

“One of the trustees on the Board, Jennifer Mathile Prikkel, a 1995 graduate, was a major benefactor to the building,” Parry said. The building, its success and proper completion have been of great concern to the Board.

Parry is also working on her senior comprehensive project that she will be presented to the Board.

“I will also be conducting independent research that has applications to enrollment management,” Parry said. “I am serving on several committees within the Board and look forward to watching these committees progress throughout the year.”

The Board will meet in February and April of the spring semester.
