Irish fans were optimistic once again this week when we asked for a prediction of Michigan QB Denard Robinson's rushing total.
Nearly everyone expected Robinson to have either 58 or 110 rushing yards. Only 17 voters — probably the few Michigan fans who wandered onto our site to leave encouraging comments like 'Go Blue!' — expected Robinson to have 200 yards.
Robinson, of course, outdid even The Observer's most cynical prediction by rushing for an unbelievable 258 yards.
