Morris Inn restaurants close temporarily due to burst pipe

The two restaurants in the Morris Inn at Notre Dame — Rohr’s and Sorin’s — will be closed Tuesday night due to a burst pipe in Rohr’s, according to an email from University spokesperson Dennis Brown.

Early Tuesday afternoon, the Notre Dame Fire Department responded to an alarm at the Morris Inn after a frozen pipe broke, releasing water in a stairwell between the kitchen and Rohr’s bar and grill, according to the email.

Both restaurants are expected to open Wednesday and there was no extensive or lasting damage to either restaurant or the hotel.
