Dear members of the Notre Dame community,
I want to thank you for the many prayers and expressions of support you’ve extended to me and my family since the passing of my mother, Helen Condon Jenkins, on Feb. 13 in my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. My mother had children and grandchildren graduate from Notre Dame, and she loved the school and the Notre Dame community. Your kindness has been a great comfort to us.
I will offer a Memorial Mass celebrating her life on Thursday, March 23 at 5:15 p.m. in the Basilica. Anyone who would like to join us would be most welcome.
