Along with at least a dozen fellow alumni from the classes of 2000 to 2017, I had the honor of participating in the Humor Artists’ (HA) 100th Anniversary “HAlumni Show” at Washington Hall on Nov. 3. It was a chance to re-live the many happy memories of past HA shows and to catch up with old friends. It was also a chance to get to know the current HA cast members, who are smarter, funnier and more talented than we old boys ever were. The club presidents, Henry Long and Sawyer Williams, deserve special recognition and our thanks for bringing HA’s past together with its present for one unforgettable night. HA will always hold a special place in my heart. Having met the 2017 Humor Artists, I have no doubt that HA will keep Notre Dame laughing for another 100 years. Your grateful HA alumni wish you well!
