Senate holds elections, amends constitution

The Notre Dame student senate met Wednesday afternoon, holding elections for the Campus Life Council and the Committee for the Constitution and passing orders to amend parts of the constitution.

Sorin College hosts annual secession week

Sorin College hosts an annual secession week to promote pride within the dorm according to newly elected Sorin College President and Vice President. Phillip Hicks speaks on the history of Sorin and his time living in the hall.

Office of Sustainability aims to increase recycling

The University plans to increase recycling efforts and awareness among students as April is sustainability month. They also plan on improving students' knowledge on the recycling process by offering students a tour of a local recycling center.

Holy Half unites runners and spectators

·

Over 1,500 runners woke up Saturday morning to tackle the Holy Half Marathon around Notre Dame Campus. Volunteers and supporters also arose from the slumber with music and signs ready to cheer on racers.

Fisher Hall hosts its ‘last’ regatta

·

Students and spectators gathered at Saint Mary’s Lake for the Fisher Regatta, raising $15,000 for St. Adalbert school by midday. Despite uncertainties about its future, Commissioner Nick Biad expressed hope for continuing the tradition. Participants crafted makeshift boats, from inflatable unicorns to wooden constructions, showcasing community spirit and creativity in the event.
