I'd like to follow up with Amanda Golbabai's Letter to the Editor ("Club leaders discuss global health crisis," Oct. 27) two weeks ago and reemphasize the excitement and hope that the global health committee has towards the initiative to make a positive impact on the global health crisis through a united effort amongst student groups on campus.However, support and co-sponsorship are needed amongst all these groups and I'm calling upon club and organization leaders, along with any other interested persons, to attend the initial meeting that will provide details with regard to our plans for action including fundraising, continuing education, the Notre Dame curriculum, political action and faith. Please join us and find out where your club fits into this campus-wide effort on Wednesday at 10 p.m. in the Notre Dame Room of LaFortune.Once the Notre Dame student body is united, we can truly make a difference in the global health crisis on a scale we'd never dream possible as an individual.
