This year, Sophomore Board is focusing primarily on Cinderella's Closet, a charity event it plans to hold in March, president Megan Griffin said.
"Cinderella's Closet is a used prom dress and accessories sale for local girls. We are collecting gently worn dresses and accessories to sell at very low prices to make prom more affordable for girls who otherwise may not go," Griffin said in an e-mail to The Observer.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards Relay for Life, an event the board will be involved with in April, she said.
Though they will also be working on Sophomore Parents Weekend, their usual main event and fundraiser, Cinderella's Closet is a new program and they hope to make it successful, she said.
