Jordan Bucci def. Adrian “Yo Adrian” Moreno

Returning champion and senior Bucci picked up the pace midway through the first round, showing his experience against the sophomore Moreno. In the second round Moreno evened the playing field, but Bucci began the third round fiercely with haymakers and did not back down. Bucci took the match by unanimous decision.

Ryan “The Show Stopper” Shestak def. Andy Nester

The two senior boxers looked strong and aggressive in the first round, but it was Shestak’s size advantage and consistency that earned him the unanimous victory.

Nester didn’t give up despite Shestak’s intensity and forcefulness, and he retaliated in the third round with a series of jabs to Shestak’s head. It was not enough to trump Shestak’s early domination, and Shestak was awarded the unanimous victory.

Caleb Laux def. James “Marshall Law” Ouderkirk

Senior Marshall’s first punch set the tone for the first round, but fellow senior Laux came into the second round looking for a comeback.  His fire continued into the third round, when both fighters brought intensity to make for an eventful ending. Laux took the victory in a split decision.
