The Music and Markets of London
Adriana Pratt, a junior political science major, is currently in the United Kingdom with the Notre Dame’s London Programme.
London is known as one of the most global cities in the world, bringing together cultures that anywhere else would find it difficult to live in harmony. Nowhere is this symbiotic lifestyle more apparent than at the many street markets that cover London’s boroughs. In this edition of “‘Scene’ Around the World,” you’ll get to see what the Portobello, Leadenhall and Borough Markets look like and how a little food and music can turn a community into a family.
