ND washed out
Observer Staff Report | Tuesday, April 29, 2014
Due to the threat of potentially severe thunderstorms and rain in the forecast, Tuesday’s matchup between Notre Dame and Western Michigan was cancelled. There is no planned make-up game between the teams this season.
The Irish (34-10, 13-5 ACC) will now turn their attention to the final games of the regular season. Starting Saturday, Notre Dame begins a three-game series against Boston College, with the first game scheduled for 1 p.m. that day at Melissa Cook Stadium. On Sunday, during the regular-season finale, the Irish will honor their four seniors — infielder Chloe Saganowich, outfieders Lauren Stuhr and Monica Torres and pitcher Laura Winter.
