Notre Dame junior forward Andrew Oglevie has signed a two-year, entry-level deal with the Buffalo Sabres, the team announced in a press release on Wednesday.

Oglevie finished his college career last weekend with Notre Dame, as the Irish (28-10-2, 17-6-1 Big Ten) lost to Minnesota Duluth in the national championship game Saturday. Oglevie recorded the lone goal in the 2-1 loss to Bulldogs (25-16-3, 13-11-0 NCHC).
The junior from Fullerton, California, served as an alternate captain this past season while leading the team in goals with 15 and finished second on the squad in assists and points, with 24 and 39, respectively. He finishes his Notre Dame career with 41 goals and 48 assists for 89 points in 107 games.
Oglevie’s signing was the second for the Irish this season, following senior forward and captain Jake Evans, who led the team in points with 46 and signed with the Montreal Canadiens on Monday.
