A rape was reported to Notre Dame Security Police (NDSP) on May 17, according to Monday’s NDSP crime log.
The alleged rape occurred in the library parking lot between March 1 and March 8, according to an updated entry in Thursday’s crime log.
The report was later classified as ”Unfounded” according to an updated crime log on June 22. University spokesperson Dennis Brown said among all criminal cases reported to NDSP in 2017, less than 1 percent were determined to be unfounded.
Information about sexual assault prevention and resources for survivors of sexual assault are available online from NDSP and the Title IX office.
