Welcome back to the Viewpoint Podcast!
If you're tuning in for the first time, this podcast is an offshoot of The Observer’s Viewpoint section. Our goals for the podcast are to discuss important national and international issues and to deepen our understanding of how they affect our Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s and Holy Cross communities. We’ll be welcoming a diverse group of voices, including students, professors, campus groups and a few surprise guests along the way.
In Episode 2, we use a roundtable format to dig into Notre Dame's new Residential Life policies, from free laundry, to on-campus incentives and, of course, the so-called "Senior Exclusion Policy." We also invite students from around campus to share their Res Life and housing hot takes, and we wrap up with more questions to consider about how the policy process works at Notre Dame.
