The Observer

A note from Paul Browne on the I4RH lawsuit

By linking its news coverage to a fundraiser for plaintiffs suing the University, The Observer fails to meet the standards of impartiality expected of serious journalism. Further, a more complete, balanced story would have included the fact that the Supreme Court had announced it would be considering the same issues raised by the Notre Dame case.
Regardless, Notre Dame stands on firm legal and moral ground in refusing to subsidize the limited number of contraceptive products that can act as abortifacients and harm an unborn child.
