Saint Mary’s move-in to take place over course of 6 days, students to register for 2-hour time slots

| Friday, June 12, 2020

In an attempt to maintain social distancing guidelines, move-in for Saint Mary’s residence halls will take place over the course of six days, beginning Aug. 4 through Aug. 9, the Office of Residence Life announced in an email Friday. Fall semester courses are scheduled to commence Aug. 10.

Students will be sent a link to register for a two-hour time slot in one of the allocated move-in days and will only be allowed to enter the residence halls during their designated time frame. Each student will be permitted to bring no more than two additional people to help with move-in.

More information surrounding the move-in process will be distributed in the following weeks along with the registration link, the email said. Groups approved for early arrival and move-in, such as band members and student workers, will receive specific information via a separate email.
