Saint Mary's will resume classes for the 2021 spring semester Feb. 1, two days earlier than previously scheduled, President Katie Conboy announced in an email Monday.
In addition, the College will integrate two reading days into the semester for students to use to rejuvenate or catch up on school work.
“We’re doing this because I have also heard from students and faculty just how challenging it has been to push through this semester without a break,“ Conboy said in the email. “By bringing students back early, we can insert two days into the calendar — February 22 and March 23 — so you can catch up on reading and sleep, and decompress.“
All other dates for the spring semester will remain the same.
