Notre Dame Stadium will operate at full capacity for the 2021 football season, the University announced in a Wednesday press release.
The release stated the University will monitor health conditions on a national and local level from now until the fall to determine protocols and restrictions, but decided to make all 77,622 seats available for purchase for each game.
Jack Swarbrick, University vice president and James E. Rohr Director of Athletics, said Notre Dame would encourage all attendees to be vaccinated prior to attending a game. In addition, Swarbrick said the University is hoping to hold outdoor traditions on football weekends.
Notre Dame Stadium will host seven games this fall from early September to late November. Previous season ticket holders are able to renew their tickets this week. The ticket lottery will be open mid-July and single-game tickets will be available to purchase mid-August.
