In an email to the University community, the Notre Dame Police Department (NDPD) announced their partners at the South Bend Police Department (SBPD) had reported a shooting two blocks south of the Notre Dame campus early Sunday morning.
The incident reportedly occurred near the intersection of North Eddy St. and Napoleon St. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries and does not appear to be affiliated with the University, according to NDPD’s email.
Though there is reportedly no suspect information at this time, NDPD urged anyone with information of the incident to contact SBPD at 574-235-9263.
