| Sunday, October 31, 2021

An incident of sexual assault occurred near campus in the early hours of Sunday, the Notre Dame Police Department (NDPD) announced in an email to the campus community Sunday morning.

The email reported that the female victim was sexually assaulted by three men in a parked vehicle near a commercial development in the 1600 block of South Bend Avenue, southeast of campus. NDPD said she had visited campus earlier in the evening.

NDPD has been in contact with their partners in South Bend regarding the incident, the email said.

Information about sexual assault prevention and resources for survivors of sexual assault are available online from NDPD and the Title IX office.
