Shots were heard southeast of Eddy Street Commons early Sunday morning, according to a safety information alert sent to the campus community Sunday.
The incident occurred shortly after the 2 a.m. closing of Brother’s Bar at Eddy Street Commons, according to the email.
According to the alert, the South Bend Police Department (SBPD) reported the shots and a resident of 900 Twyckenham later reported hearing the shots.
The alert encouraged anyone with information regarding the incident to contact SBPD.
