Wallace graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in music performance. She then earned her Master of Theological Studies from Washington Theological Union in 2010 and Doctor of Ministry in educational leadership from the Virginia Theological Seminary in 2019.

Wallace served as the inaugural director of apostolic mission and charism at the Congregation of Holy Cross’s U.S. Province of Priests and Brothers at Notre Dame since 2021. In addition, she served five years as vice president for mission and ministry at Alvernia University.

The release described Wallace as “an experienced mission leader.” In her recent position, Wallace partnered with Holy Cross colleges and universities across the country to increase awareness of the distinct Holy Cross charism, the release said.

Saint Mary’s President Katie Conboy noted in the release that Wallace “has created environments that are open to learning and engagement” throughout her career and looks forward to having her at the College.

“I am delighted to welcome her to my leadership team and look forward to our collaboration,” Conboy said.
