Students who applied to Notre Dame via the University’s restrictive early action process will receive their admissions decisions Friday at 6:42 p.m. EST.
The time is a nod to Notre Dame’s founding year, 1842.
The University reviewed 11,163 restrictive early action applications last year for the undergraduate class of 2027 and offered 1,701 applicants admission.
Between the restrictive early action and regular decision processes, Notre Dame reviewed 28,354 applications for the class of 2027, admitting around 12% of applicants. About 60% of admitted students enrolled.
U.S. students of color make up 34% of Notre Dame’s class of 2027, and international students account for 8%. The class is 20.5% first generation and Pell Grant recipients, including 96 students admitted through the QuestBridge match program.
Notre Dame remains test optional for the 2023-2024 application cycle. For the class of 2027, 37% of admitted students did not submit a test score.
Admitted students have until May 1 to confirm their attendance at the University.
