Holy Cross College will begin classes for the spring semester Feb. 3, 2021, College President Fr. David Tyson said in an email Wednesday. This announcement comes following Notre Dame's schedule change. The University will also begin classes Feb. 3.
The semester will continue without a spring break, but classes will be cancelled April 2 for Good Friday. The College will provide more details regarding the spring semester in the next few weeks.
Tyson said this course of action was largely made as national forecasts predict a surge in the end of 2020.
“We believe this course of action will allow us to remain on our course for in-person classes and keep our campus safe,” Tyson said.
