Amy Coney Barrett to deliver keynote at Notre Dame Law Review symposium

U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett will return to Notre Dame to deliver the keynote address at the Notre Dame Law Review’s 2022 Federal Courts Symposium on Feb. 14, according to a Monday University press release.

The lecture will be held in the McCartan Courtroom at the Law School at 12:30 p.m. Only law students, students in the Constitutional Studies program and media members will be allowed to attend the speech in person due to limited seating in the courtroom.

Barrett, who graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 1997 and later served as a faculty member in the law school until her confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2020, will speak about federal equity power and its scope within the broader constitutional system of law. Barrett served as the executive editor of the Law Review during her time as a student and then later became the faculty adviser.
