The Notre Dame women’s swimming and diving team will finish the 2024-25 season at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center outside of Seattle. Freshman Carli Cronk headlines the Irish swimmers on the individual side along with four seniors competing on a pair of relays.
After a record-breaking first season at Notre Dame, Cronk qualified for the 400 IM meet and earned B cuts in the 500 free and 200 fly. She holds the program record in the 400 IM, posting a 4:07.63 in the Tim Welsh Classic back on Jan. 25. She posted a 1:55.28 in the 200 fly at the same event, which ranks fourth in program history. Most recently, she broke the record for the 500 free in the 2025 ACC Championships with a time of 4:42.59.
Maggie Graves rounds out the individual swimming events for the Irish. The senior from Barrington, Illinois is set to compete in the 1650 free for the second consecutive year after recording a career-best time of 16:10.82 in the 2024 meet, which landed her 28th overall.
Senior Jessica Geriane, graduate Imogen Meers, graduate Katie Drumm and senior Madelyn Christman will swim both the 200 free and 200 medley relays. Geriane, Meers and Drumm all rank in the top 10 all-time in the 50 free, with Geraine and Meers also breaking the school record in the 200 free relay against Louisville on Nov. 8 alongside Christman and freshman Hollie Widdows, the foursome posting a time of 1:27.84. Geraine, Drumm and Christman also teamed up with graduate Gigi Baldacci to break the school record in the 200-medley relay at ACC Championships in February with a time of 1:36.73.
Junior diver Grace Courtney’s standout performance in Zone C Championships earned her a spot in the 3-meter springboard at the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive year. The Cincinnati native will hope to improve on last year’s 21st-place finish.
The four-day event will run March 19-22 with the first day of competitions beginning at 9 p.m. in Federal Way, Washington.
