Alex Wilcox | Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Top-ranked Syracuse’s 8-0 run to open the game proved too much for No. 13 Notre Dame to overcome, as the Orange topped the Irish 18-10 on Senior Day. “There was a little too much watching from our team,” Irish coach Christine Halfpenny said. “We didn’t come out the way we wanted to come out. They

Irish remain winless in ACC

Alex Wilcox | Friday, February 28, 2014

Turnovers doomed No. 12 Notre Dame from the beginning as the Irish fell to defending national champion and No. 1 North Carolina, 19-9, in their first road contest of the season Thursday at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, N.C. “Our team has to learn a really tough lesson regarding turnovers,” Irish coach Christine Halfpenny said.

Wilcox: Money in sports isn’t all bad (Feb. 27)

Alex Wilcox | Thursday, February 27, 2014

For better or for worse, money is everywhere, and Notre Dame is no exception. Alex Wilcox | Wednesday, February 19, 2014

Notre Dame’s entrance into the ACC got off to a rocky start with Saturday’s 15-10 loss to Boston College. But one bright spot in the game, and throughout the young season, was junior midfielder Caitlin Gargan.
