Despite a losing record, Saint Mary’s soccer boasts a surplus of talent and perseverance

Saint Mary’s soccer had a harder season this fall, going 8-9 overall and 1-7 in the conference. In the 17 games they played, the Belles garnered 21 goals (approximately 1.24 goals per game) with an average of 11 shots on goal per game. Despite this effort, it was not enough to notch a winning record.

A men’s boxing tournament that benefits the Holy Cross Mission in Bangladesh, Bengal Bouts seems to perfectly combine two integral aspects of Notre Dame’s identity: a passion for sports and a commitment to social impact.
