Maggie Clark | Wednesday, October 5, 2022

As we enter autumn, TikTok has taken a turn from focusing on the “coastal grandmother” summer aesthetic, to one more fitting of the current season: “Meg Ryan Fall.” This trend is inspired by the namesake’s hit movies of the 80s and 90s. Because of the popularity of the aesthetic, many of Ryan’s movies have faced

‘All Too Well: The Short Film’: ‘I might be OK, but I’m not fine at all’

Maggie Clark | Wednesday, November 17, 2021

Taylor Swift rarely ceases to surprise or amaze me. I have been an avid “Swiftie” since 2012, yet my expectations of her artistry has been exceeded with every song, music video or album release since then. The Friday release of “Red (Taylor’s Version)” was no different. Not only was I blown away by the album

A men’s boxing tournament that benefits the Holy Cross Mission in Bangladesh, Bengal Bouts seems to perfectly combine two integral aspects of Notre Dame’s identity: a passion for sports and a commitment to social impact.

This week, From the Archives takes a long overdue look at the history of Bengal Bouts. While this tournament predates the Observer by nearly four decades, we uncovered a selection of stories that capture at least a part of the rich history of this Notre Dame tradition.

We asked you to Ask The Observer Sports Department We asked you to Ask The Observer Sports Department and you responded with the request: “Northwestern @ Notre Dame 2014 Football Breakdown”. That game was a heartbreaking loss for a Notre Dame team that had started 6-0 before stumbling down the stretch to a 7-5 record.
