Three weeks ago, William Barr, the Attorney General of the United States and a prominent figure in the Trump administration, came to Notre Dame’s campus to deliver a speech at the law school. Returning to Cincinnati

Most professionals don’t get a spring break. I was reminded of this reality as I walked Notre Dame’s quiet campus after students left for service trips, sunny beaches and everything in between just over a week ago. But, the quiet of campus was the catalyst I needed to take some intentional time to slow down.

He gained eminence in Anglo-American jurisprudence for his integration of common law and

What next for love and marriage?

Christopher Damian | Thursday, December 11, 2014

The first dozen times I came out I cried. For many of my friends, it was the first time they had seen me cry. Ever. A high school friend once told me that I had two emotions: happy, and more happy. She was wrong. I felt a lot of things, but I had to hide

Each day our student journalists, editors, reporters, photographers and designers work hard to report on the things you care about. From tri-campus events to movie reviews, letters to the editor and sports predictions, we give a platform to numerous voices waiting to be heard.

Even throughout the pandemic, our staff has continued publishing articles, letters, columns, reviews and sharing our content with you on social media.

Just recently The Observer won first place in online publication of the year at the Indiana Collegiate Press Association Awards, proving that our hard work and dedication pays off.

As a student-run organization, we juggle the same responsibilities as our peers, while remaining committed to informing the public out of our love for the tri-campus community. This ND Day, we hope that you would consider making a donation to support our student journalists.

Irish head coach Mike Johnson said, “I give our kids credit. I thought we competed hard … It’s not how we wanted it to end of course, but I can’t say enough about our players, about the people that they are, about the sacrifices they’ve made. I just have the greatest love and appreciation for them.”
