Andrew McGuinness | Friday, May 19, 2023

Following up a team’s best season in 20 years is never easy. Last year, Notre Dame baseball climbed to a summit it could have only dreamed about just a few years ago and one it came so agonizingly close to reaching the season prior: the College World Series. The 2022 team became the third in

Notre Dame baseball was in a tough spot after Friday night’s game. Extra-inning loss wraps up 2-2 stretch for Irish baseball

Tyler Reidy | Wednesday, April 12, 2023

Notre Dame baseball played four games over the past week, starting strong but struggling to the finish line. The Irish offense surged in a series win and near-sweep at Pittsburgh over the weekend. However, the bats couldn’t deliver late in Tuesday’s 7-6 home loss to Michigan State. The 11-inning defeat snapped Notre Dame’s five-game winning

It’s a moment every young ballplayer dreams of. There truly is nothing like it — seeing a ball fly off your bat and over the fence for the very first time at the college level. Tuesday night, Notre Dame sophomore catcher Joey Spence turned that dream into reality. It happened in the eighth inning, when
