Marching band benched due to pandemic

Even though the Band of the Fighting Irish began band camp this week, the marching band announced Friday they would not march on the field this football season. In an email to band members, the marching band staff said, “We will play in the stands, occupying a greatly expanded seating space to facilitate social distancing.”
