Adams: College basketball teams should start running plays again

Hayden Adams | Wednesday, April 17, 2019

It’s no secret that college basketball is in the one-and-done era, pioneered by current Kentucky head coach John Calipari (henceforth addressed as “Coach Cal”) and since adopted by some of the most prominent basketball powerhouses. It’s also no secret that the one-and-done era comes with its casualties, the most obvious of which is the widely-accepted

Now that North Carolina’s victory in the NCAA tournament has had a while to settle in, the time feels right to examine one of the more important takeaways from the madness. During the Final Four games themselves, a lot of the media’s attention focused on North Carolina’s drive to avenge its loss to Villanova in

Klonsinski: What just happened?

Zach Klonsinski | Wednesday, April 8, 2015

To be honest, I’m still trying to process everything that happened at the Final Four this weekend. And I’m not talking about wins and losses. In reality, the games were the side show at times, especially Saturday night. It started off innocently enough as eventual national champion Duke trounced Michigan State. Mike Krzyzewski and Tom

With just over a minute remaining in regulation and Notre Dame (20-2, 8-1 ACC)

Joseph R. Biden has become the second Catholic President in United States history, but his position on abortion is “one that cannot be condoned” according to Rev. Robert Dowd.

“Other bishops think that, because he’s a conscientious Catholic whose faith is obviously important to him, we should strike a more positive tone, particularly at the outset of his presidency. After all, in many ways Biden’s positions are more in line with Catholic teaching than Trump’s, particularly when it comes to migrants, refugees, climate issues, poverty and inequality,” Dowd continued.
