Being back is good. Requiring the booster is even better.

Alexa Schlaerth | Friday, January 14, 2022

As spring semester 2022 has dawned upon us all, now more than ever is the time to reflect on the policies and behaviors that have allowed us to come back to campus in (what is seemingly) one piece. Conspiracy theories ring true in ‘Dark Waters’

Sara Schlecht | Monday, November 25, 2019

“Dark Waters,” the latest from Todd Haynes, is in some sense a typical, albeit slow, legal thriller that takes place less in the courtroom and more on a farm. Where it differs is its unnerving basis in fact. Based on a New York Times Magazine article, the film tells the story of Robert Bilott, played

A men’s boxing tournament that benefits the Holy Cross Mission in Bangladesh, Bengal Bouts seems to perfectly combine two integral aspects of Notre Dame’s identity: a passion for sports and a commitment to social impact.

This week, From the Archives takes a long overdue look at the history of Bengal Bouts. While this tournament predates the Observer by nearly four decades, we uncovered a selection of stories that capture at least a part of the rich history of this Notre Dame tradition.

We asked you to Ask The Observer Sports Department We asked you to Ask The Observer Sports Department and you responded with the request: “Northwestern @ Notre Dame 2014 Football Breakdown”. That game was a heartbreaking loss for a Notre Dame team that had started 6-0 before stumbling down the stretch to a 7-5 record.
