Ryan Peters | Wednesday, September 21, 2022

Paul Ryan knew it was time to move on after 20 years in the House of Representatives. Two terms as the youngest speaker of the House since 1869 was enough for Ryan, who did not seek re-election in 2019. “My last two terms were Speaker of the House, which is such a consuming job that

President Biden’s massive virus relief bill heads to the Senate after passing the House on Saturday. Currently, it is $1.9 trillion in aid meant to stimulate the lagging U.S. economy and bolster employment. Even if the Senate whittles it down somewhat, it will still be roughly twice the size (after inflation adjustments) of the stimulus

Sixty years after President John F. Notre Dame should be more political, which means inviting Joe Biden

Vince Mallett | Friday, February 26, 2021

For Notre Dame, or any Catholic institution, to express unqualified support for President Biden’s agenda would be unconscionable. In just his first 37 days, the President has taken the dangerously unjust actions of breaking promises on immigration and expanding taxpayer support for abortion. Fr. Jenkins described the latter as “deeply disappointing.” In my opinion, the University

That game was a heartbreaking loss for a Notre Dame team that had started 6-0 before stumbling down the stretch to a 7-5 record. A bowl game win over LSU salvaged some optimism for the program’s future, but that loss to Northwestern was a shocking result that contributed to one of the more appalling stretches of Irish football in the Brian Kelly era.
