Holy Cross to conduct classes remotely Thursday due to winter weather

All classes at Holy Cross College will be conducted remotely Thursday due to inclement weather and poor driving conditions, the College’s vice president for finance Monica Markovich announced in an email sent Wednesday afternoon.

Faculty and staff will also work from home Thursday. St. Joseph County has announced an orange/watch level advisory due to weather conditions.

This announcement follows closures on the tri-campus on Wednesday due to heavy snowfall and poor driving conditions. Holy Cross and Saint Mary’s conducted classes online and Notre Dame canceled all in-person and virtual classes Wednesday.

Holy Cross students taking courses on the other campuses are instructed to follow each institution’s respective attendance expectations, the email read. Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s have not yet announced plans for Thursday.
